What does this app do?
You choose the apps that pull you in - social media, video, and games. Before those apps open, UnlockYou asks for one affirmation or gratitude line. Then it unlocks for your chosen window and locks again after.
Why does it need Screen Time permission?
On iPhone, app blocking works through Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls). This permission lets UnlockYou place a lock screen on apps you select.
Does it record my voice?
No. Speech recognition runs on-device to verify your affirmation. Audio is not recorded, stored, or uploaded.
How do subscriptions work?
UnlockYou includes a 7-day trial, then paid plans apply if you continue. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be managed or cancelled anytime from iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
How can I stop blocking an app?
Open UnlockYou settings and remove that app from your selected list. You stay in control of what gets locked.
